Black type performer Beefeater is starting to speed up in his foundation work for a spring preparation.
The talented four-year-old is currently in pre-training at breeder-owner Christopher Grace's Bulls property before re-joining Roydon Bergerson's Awapuni stable.
Beefeater has four wins and 11 placings from his 17 starts, including a third in the Gr.2 Japan-NZ International Trophy.
"He's been super this season and he was probably a bit unlucky at Tauranga," Bergerson said.
"He's hardly done anything wrong and we're looking forward to the spring. Nothing is confirmed, but we'll probably nominate him for the Livamol."
