Chris Johnson's quest for a second jockeys' premiership has been stalled by a suspension.
He was successful at Pukekohe Park on Wednesday aboard Contessa Vanessa and Naadirr, but he was found guilty of careless riding on the latter and was suspended for four meetings.
Johnson, who is a clear leader in the premiership race, will miss Te Aroha on Sunday and following fixtures at Rotorua, Waverley and Wingatui.
