Tauranga will be the next port of call for the in-form winter stayer Doiknowyou.
"He'll go for the Kiwifruit Cup next," trainer Ben Ropiha said. "After that, I'll look at freshening him up and we might head down south for the Winter Cup. That's usually quite a testing mile and can suit a 2000 metre horse."
Doinknowyou, who won over 1600m three runs back, finished runner-up in the Gr.3 Rotorua Cup before his last-start third in the Cornwall Handicap at Ellerslie.
"In hindsight, we should have let him lead and roll along," Ropiha said. "We'll be inclined to do that in future if it's a slow pace, he needs a genuinely run race."
