Ten winners in the past week have Mark Walker 13 winners in front of Alwin Tan in his chase for a second trainers' premiership in Singapore.
Walker won five New Zealand trainers' titles from Matamata before setting up in Singapore.
"He's such a terrific trainer," Te Akau principal David Ellis said. "Mark surrounds himself with great team members - Gus and Karen Clutterbuck, Robbie Hewetson and all his staff."
Walker, who has now sent out 48 winners this season, won the premiership in 2015 with a tally of 86.
