Allure is likely to make her final two-year-old appearance of the season at Wanganui before she is put aside ahead of a spring return to the River City.
The well-bred Lonhro filly will tackle Saturday's Listed John Turkington Forestry Ltd Castletown Stakes with trainer Tony Bambry keen to see her add black type to her tasty pedigree.
"It's a wonderful family and we wanted to win a two-year-old race with her, which she's done, and a bit of black type would tick a box for future breeding purposes," he said.
"She's very professional and she'll probably have a break after this race. Then we'll get her ready for Wanganui in the spring, most likely the Listed fillies' race."
Bambry has enjoyed an excellent black type run on the course with Listed Wanganui Guineas wins with Lord Turbo and Alcaldesa while Acquito was a placegetter.
A daughter of the Gr.1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes winner Captivate, Allure was a $90,000 Karaka purchase for Bambry and then failed to meet her reserve at the Ready to Run Sale.
"We'll be keeping her now and she can join our broodmare band later," he said. "The family aren't very big, but they are real racehorses."
Allure showed early talent with trial wins at Awapuni and Foxton before she finished third on debut at Tauherenikau in March.
Following a let-up, she ran fourth earlier this month at Wanganui with success to follow seven days later at New Plymouth.
"She's done enough to deserve a crack at this race," Bambry said.
"She's kept improving and I was probably a bit too light on her for her first two starts and that's why I backed her up last time out. She's quite a gross sort of filly." – NZ Racing Desk.
