Handy winter galloper Casillas has run his last race.
"He went to the Avondale trials recently, but he didn't pull up too well afterwards so he's retired and we'll find another role for him," said Trevor Cruz, who trained the gelding with his brother Martin.
A son of Keeper, Casillas was lightly-raced and from 19 starts he won four races, all on rain-affected tracks, and placed a further seven times.
