Promising three-year-old Infinite Choice is showing the benefit of a patient approach.
The Hong Kong-owned gelding returned from a break at Te Rapa on Saturday to open his winning account at his fifth appearance.
"We've always thought a bit of him, but he lacked a bit of strength earlier on," said Lance O'Sullivan, who trains Infinite Choice with Andrew Scott.
