Son Of Zac's last two winning runs have fuelled overseas inquiries for the three-year-old.
"There has been some interest, but for the moment we're more than happy to be racing him," said Kevin Hughes, who with his wife and training partner Pam shares in the ownership of the chestnut.
Son Of Zac is unbeaten in two runs on his home track this preparation and he will attempt to complete a Riccarton hat-trick in Saturday's NZB South Island Sale April 21 Rating 75.
"He's still a work in progress, but he's very well," Hughes said.
