Hasahalo will sign off for the season in the Gr.1 Courtesy Ford Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes on Saturday.
The Savabeel filly, who won the Gr.3 Eclipse Stakes before finishing second in the Karaka Million and fifth in the Gr.1 Sistema Stakes, will have to overcome the outside gate if she is to successfully end her campaign on a high at Awapuni.
"It will make it very difficult for her to win from that position," trainer Stephen McKee said.
"On the plus side, tactics will be easy. We can only ride her patiently, but she will have lengths to make up.
"We think 1400 metres will suit her perfectly, she has a terrific turn of foot and premiership leading jockey Danielle Johnson is sticking with her."
