Last-start stakes winner Rock On has settled in well at John Sargent's stable ahead of his Australian debut in Saturday's Gr.2 Chairman's Handicap at Randwick.
His trip to Sydney was confirmed by his victory in the Listed New Zealand St Leger at Trentham a fortnight ago.
"John rang me on Tuesday and the horse travelled over well," trainer Gary Vile said.
"There wasn't much else for him here, apart from the Hawke's Bay Cup, and we wanted to give him a trip away. He'll only have the one run there."
The dream long-term goal for Rock On is the Melbourne spring carnival.
