Lee Somervell rates both of his runners at Matamata on Wednesday highly.
The Cambridge trainer will be represented by Impulsive Habit in the Fairview Motors 1600 and by Dainty Rose in the PGG Wrightson Ltd 1600.
"Impulsive Habit has got a lot of potential and he's worked well since a nice run the other day," said Somervell of the gelding who ran third in the Listed Ryder Stakes last season.
"Dainty Rose has got a lovely nature and she will be ideally-suited to the 1600 metres."
