A double at Kranji on Sunday night has taken Mark Walker two wins clear in the race for the Singapore trainers' title.
Success with the New Zealand-bred pair of Major Tom and Clutha Lad took the expatriate Kiwi horseman to 21 winners for the season with the defending champion Alwin Tan on 19.
Major Tom is a son of Darci Brahma while the seven-year-old Clutha Lad is by Thorn Park.
Walker has the Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge in mind for Major Tom, but said he would need to keep going through his grades to earn a berth.
"He will not run in the first leg, he will go to the 1400m and 1600m legs, but he has to peak at the right time for these races," he said.
New Zealand-breds won 10 of the 20 races conducted in Singapore over the weekend.
