Promising four-year-old Travimyfriend is making good progress toward a return to racing.
The son of Tavistock enjoyed a lucrative summer preparation with a hat-trick of wins and he was turned out after he was unplaced following a tough run at Ellerslie in January.
"He didn't have any luck there and he had 60kg, but it was a $50,000 race so we had to have a go," trainer Rachael Frost said.
"He had a month off after that and he's done well. He doesn't take a lot of work to get fit."
