Beaten Gr.1 New Zealand Derby favourite Savile Row has major goals ahead of him in the spring.
Not at his best at Ellerslie, he had previously posted Group One runner-up finishes in the NZ 2000 Guineas, Levin Classic and the Herbie Dyke Stakes for trainers Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard.
The Kevin Hickman-owned Savile Row will now be spelled with the Hawke's Bay carnival and Melbourne figuring prominently in the spring plans of his connections.
