Te Rapa trainer David Greene will make a decision by the weekend on the immediate future of stable star Stolen Dance.
"She's had a minor foot issue and we've been battling that," he said. "She's doing light work on the treadmill, but she needs to improve a lot in the next few days.
"We've got to make a decision on whether the season is over for her or whether we can push on for the Breeders at Te Aroha."
Stolen Dance last raced when finishing ninth in the Gr.1 Thorndon Mile at Trentham.
