Hong Kong Horse of the Year Werther will not be heading to Dubai for the $US6 million Dubai Turf as suggested by connections following his victory in Sunday's Gr.1 Hong Kong Gold Cup.
Trainer John Moore told the South China Morning Post that owner Johnson Chen had decided against sending the New Zealand-bred son of Tavistock to Dubai, citing the change in climate and travel concerns.
