Cambridge trainer Shaune Ritchie is using the Breakfast with The Stars session at Ellerslie on Tuesday morning to further the preparation of his Auckland Cup candidate Snow Secret.
"She's done well since her run at Te Rapa and it'll be a month between races so this will help," Ritchie said. "I'm also taking Hot Saki, who hasn't been to Ellerslie before. It'll be good for her."
Snow Secret finished fourth of six at Te Rapa after being unlucky in the Wellington Cup. "It was a dawdle and a sprint home at Te Rapa and it didn't suit her," Ritchie said.
