Desleigh Forster plans big send-off

Brisbane trainer Desleigh Forster is preparing to bring two horses to Sydney for Group One races but hopes to make a big impact in Queensland this weekend.

Forster is heading south with Doncaster Mile hopeful Too Good To Refuse and Queen Elizabeth Stakes candidate Cylinder Beach.

"I was planning to run Too Good To Refuse in the Canterbury Stakes next Saturday but I will probably switch him to the 1400 metre Group Three race (National Sprint) in Canberra on Sunday week," Forster said.

Cylinder Beach has his first run back from a break in the Open Hcp (1350m) at Doomben on Saturday where he has 60kg.

"I know it is a big weight but he has lengths on these in natural ability. The 1350 metres suits and it should give us a good send-off for the Sydney trip.

"I also know it is a big plan to run against Winx in the Queen Elizabeth but at the worst it will give us an idea where we are for the winter." -AAP
