Matamata horseman Gary Hennessy continues to play a leading role in the career of Waikato Stud's Ocean Park.
He formerly part-owned and trained the son of Thorn Park to win five Group One races, including the Cox Plate, and to claim the New Zealand Horse of the Year title.
Hennessy now has the honour of breeding Ocean Park's first winner, the filly Beerzatbernz who was successful at Morphettville at the weekend for trainer Tony McEvoy.
Beerzatbernz's dam Flying Rosa, by Flying Spur, has an Ocean Park colt at foot and is back in foal to the sire.
