Rotorua trainer and part-owner Iain Kennedy is on a mission to boost the future value of his capable mare Endean Rose.
"We're aiming for the Kaimai Stakes at Matamata – she's won at that distance there before," he said.
"She's a six-year-old now so we're chasing black type for her."
Endean Rose has been a good servant of the stable with five wins and last time out she finished fourth in the Hamilton Cup at Te Rapa.
