Group One performer Mime has April's Gr.1 Fiber Fresh New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes (1600m) at Te Aroha in her sights.
The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained Mastercraftsman four-year-old hasn't raced since she was unplaced in the Gr.3 Eagle Technology Stakes (1600m) at Ellerslie in November.
She indicated she was progressing well in her new campaign when second to stablemate Francaletta in a 1200m trial at Cambridge on Tuesday.
"We'll head her towards Te Aroha. We haven't yet decided which race she'll kick off in, but we've got options for her leading in," said Michael Wallace, racing manager for owner China Horse Club.
"She trialled well earlier this week and we're happy with her."
