Storytime's performance at New Plymouth will decide her immediate future.
Placed in both the Gr.2 Eight Carat Classic and the Gr.3 Eulogy Stakes, the Wanganui filly will step out in the Listed Bob Sharrock Memorial Oaks Prelude on Saturday.
"If she won that then we would carry on to the Oaks, otherwise we might have to look for something else," co-trainer Evan Rayner said.
