Exciting four-year-old Royal Success is closing in on a return to racing.
"He'll be trialling at Cambridge next week and we plan to run him in a Rating 85 over 1400 metres on the first day of the Auckland Cup carnival," said Jamie Richards, who trains the Savabeel gelding with Stephen Autridge.
Royal Success finished fifth on debut last season and he has been unbeaten in four subsequent starts, the last of them at Trentham in early December.
