Whispering is back in work, but she won't be seen out on race day until the autumn.
The lightly-tried five-year-old has won four of her eight starts and she was given a break after an unplaced effort at Trentham last month.
"I just think they went too quickly for her," said New Plymouth trainer Allan Sharrock, who believes Whispering is a black type mare in waiting.
