The Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs stable can't fault Volkstok'n'barrell ahead of Saturday's Gr.1 Harcourts Thorndon Mile.
The Ruakaka-trained galloper, who will have to give weight to all of his rivals, has done particularly well since he finished runner-up in the Gr.1 Zabeel Classic at Ellerslie on Boxing Day.
"He's in great shape, but he's not particularly well in on Saturday although it's better than him carrying 64kg at Pukekohe," Logan said. "The race will keep him right up to the mark for the Herbie Dyke Stakes."
