Haunui Farm's Ferlax will be well represented at Karaka with 24 yearlings catalogued across the Premier, Select and Festival sales.
"We are very happy with the way they are coming to hand," Haunui Farm managing director Mark Chitty said. "They have nice scope and presence and mentally they are handling it well. The proof will be in the sale ring."
The winner of four races from 1200m to 1600m, the pinnacle of Ferlax's racing career came when winning the stallion making Gr.1 Australian Guineas in 2013. He also finished second behind Atlantic Jewel in the Gr.1 Memsie Stakes.
A son of champion sire Pentire, Ferlax is out of the Marscay mare Legs Akimbo, herself a daughter of the multiple stakes winning Tights mare, Leggings.
Haunui Farm will sell three Ferlax yearlings at the Premier sale, including a colt from Gondola Girl, a winning half-sister to multiple Group One winner Show A Heart.
