Trojan Warrior may have earned himself a Group One recall with his latest success at Tauranga.
The Easter Stakes runner-up bounced back to winning form in the Crockford Real Estate 1400 on Friday to remain unbeaten in three appearances on the course.
The performance was a confidence-booster for trainer Anne Herbert, who had been puzzled by Trojan Warrior's two previous unplaced efforts.
Herbert has the five-year-old Group One-nominated for the Harcourt's Thorndon Mile and the Herbie Dyke Stakes.
