Alinko Prince has breezed through his winning run in the Listed Marton Cup at Trentham at the weekend.
"He's a box of birds and he really has pulled up tremendously well," trainer Fraser Auret said.
Saturday's outing was Alinko Prince's final lead-up to the Gr.3 Wallaceville Wellington Cup, for which he is currently the equal $7 second fancy behind the $4.50 favourite Bloodstream.
"He's going to appreciate the two miles and it's just a matter of keeping him in cotton wool until then," Auret said.
