Graeme Rogerson has never hidden his regard for Ferrando and the three-year-old gave another sample of his talent at Thames on Sunday.
In his first appearance since October, the son of Fast 'N' Famous ran his rivals ragged for an easy victory over 1200 metres.
"I think he's a special horse," said Rogerson, who prepares the colt with his wife Debbie. "He went shin sore last time in when I thought he was up to weight-for-age class."
