Under-rated galloper Brighton has earned himself a trip to Wellington.
Although unplaced in the Gr.1 Railway Stakes, he did enough to warrant a crack at the Gr.1 J. R. & N. Berkett Telegraph.
"If he had drawn a better barrier and didn't get quite so far back he could have been in the thick end if it," trainer Nigel Tiley said. "He can run a fast sectional at the end of his races."
Tiley also confirmed that he will have two runners in the Gr.1 Harcourt's Thorndon Mile – The Justice League and Girl Of My Dreams.
"The Justice League is thriving," he said. "I've never made any secret about that I think of him and Girl Of My Dreams is as tough as nails."
