Robert Smerdon is keen on a crack at the Gr.1 J. R & N. Berkett Telegraph with his in-form sprinter Odyssey Moon.
"He's Group One placed and if he could win one it would add to his CV," the Caulfield trainer said.
Odyssey Moon has won four races, including the Gr.3 Standish Handicap at Flemington on New Year's Day. The son of Snitzel has also runner-up in the Gr.1 Sires' Produce Stakes at Rosehill as a two-year-old.
