Smart 3YO’s NZ career over

No Fuss Gus - Race Images Palmerston North
No Fuss Gus

Race Images Palmerston North

Promising three-year-old No Fuss Gus has been sold to overseas interests.

The stakes placed gelding won't run again in New Zealand after a deal was recently brokered by central districts agent Phill Cataldo on behalf of a Hong Kong client.

"They are hoping to set him for the Hong Kong Derby," Cataldo said. "He's lightly-raced and by the right stallion."

No Fuss Gus was trained by Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard for Sydney-based owner Max Whitby to win one of his three starts. The son of Savabeel also finished third at his last appearance in the Gr.3 Wellington Stakes.
