Coldplay, one of the star acts of the summer so far, has headed to the spelling paddock.
"We've just eased up on her. She had a foot abscess and we've put her out. We'll bring her back for the autumn," trainer Murray Baker said.
Coldplay is unbeaten in three starts this season, progessing from a Rating 75 win at Ellerslie in October to success in the Gr.3 Eagle Technology Stakes (1600m) at Ellerslie and the Gr.2 Cal Isuzu Stakes (1600m) at Te Rapa earlier this month.
