Cylinder Beach has lived up to predictions that he would be a major player in the Brisbane summer, but trainer Desleigh Forster believes the best is yet to come.
Forster said the New Zealand-bred son of Showcasing is likely to go for a spell after Saturday's Listed Bernborough Stakes with the Sydney autumn carnival and the Brisbane winter carnival both offering future possibilities.
"There are some races in Sydney which would suit around the 1600 metre range. Of course the Stradbroke Handicap here is in the back of my mind."
