Fast And Furious justified his reputation and tote support when he won on debut at Ellerslie on Thursday.
Successful in both of his lead-up trials, the son of Swiss Ace overcame an early buffeting to lengthen his stride along the fence for a comfortable victory.
"He's a really good colt and he showed that at the trials," trainer Tony Pike said. "He's more of a sprinter-miler and we're probably running out of options until the autumn, but we'll see if there's a three-year-old race for him somewhere."
