The Steven Ramsay and Julia Ritchie-trained siblings Sopraffina and Moral Code added to their family record with victories at New Plymouth on Tuesday.
The pair are raced by Sir Peter Vela with the former a half-sister by High Chaparral to the Gr.3 Ethereal Stakes winner and Gr.1 VRC Oaks placegetter Eleonora while Moral Code is a full-sister.
"It's a good staying family. Sopraffina is nominated for the Wellington Cup and the further she goes the better," Ramsay said.
Sopraffina has now won three of her nine starts while Moral Code broke his maiden at his third appearance.
