Injury has ended the two-year-old season of the promising Matamata galloper Astor.
The daughter of Iffraaj finished third at Te Rapa last month in her only appearance for trainer Danica Guy.
"Unfortunately, she fractured her tibia – she did it on the home bend," she said. "She's a pretty smart horse and she'll come back as a three-year-old."
