Opie Bosson has been confirmed as Te Akau Racing's number one jockey again.
"He will now have first choice of their rides," his manager Aidan Rodley said.
The 36-year-old, who will replace Matt Cameron as stable rider, has enjoyed previous spells with Te Akau and served part of his apprenticeship with Stephen Autridge, who now trains in partnership with Jamie Richards.
Bosson has been booked to ride Royal Success, Splurge and Hall Of Fame for the Matamata trainers at Ellerslie on Boxing Day.
