Connections of the promising three-year-old Toorak Tower have pulled the pin on their Gr.1 Vodafone New Zealand Derby dream.
"He just lacks the strength at this stage so he's gone to the paddock," said part-owner Donna Logan, who trains the three-year-old with Chris Gibbs. "He's not quite finishing off his races."
Toorak Tower has won one of his six starts and the decision to give him a break was made after he finished fourth last time out in the Listed 3YO Salver at Ellerslie.
