Seize The Moment will take on the Listed sprint at Te Rapa on Saturday on his way toward a pair of stakes targets at next month's Wellington Cup carnival.
The Pins gelding will step out in the J Swap Contractors 1400 following an unsuccessful trip south to Christchurch for the Gr.2 Coupland's Bakeries Mile.
"He goes best left-handed and we're looking at the Anniversary Handicap and the Thorndon Mile for him," trainer Stephen Marsh said.
