Injury has pre-maturely ended the career of the multiple winner Fast Learner.
"He's had trouble with a suspensory ligament and we weren't confident we would get him back so he's been retired," part-owner and trainer Richard Collett said. "Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the best of him."
Fast Learner numbered the Douro Cup among his five wins from 20 starts and he weighed in a further 11 times, including a fifth placing in the Gr.3 Anniversary Handicap.
