Illness has forced the withdrawal of the exciting filly I Am Poppy from Saturday's Ellerslie meeting and has also put her short term Group One prospects on hold.
Part-owner and trainer Warren Bolton was forced to scratch the three-year-old from the Listed Schneider Electrical Mufhasa Stakes after she developed a cough during the week.
I Am Poppy will be given a break and she will also now miss a shot at the next month's Gr.1 J. R. & N. Berkett Telegraph at Trentham.
