A debut victory from Princess Rihanna at Otaki on Friday has set the Hong Kong-owned filly on a path toward New Zealand's richest two-year-old race.
The daughter of Showcasing followed up a trial win earlier this month with success in the Courtesy Ford Premier.
"She's a real little professional," said Andrew Scott, who trains in partnership with Lance O'Sullivan. "Hopefully, we can crack on to the Karaka Million now."
The race was marred by the death in the gates of the pre-post favourite Cheveyo and the late scratching of Sainted Pearl.
