Group One winner Addictive Habit is making steady progress after a tendon injury halted his autumn preparation.
"He's back on the walker to give him some controlled exercise and he'll be scanned at the end of this month," trainer Lee Somervell said.
"I'm hoping to have him ready to race toward the end of March and we might be looking at Brisbane again. There won't be a lot for him here."
The former Gr.1 Livamol Classic winner has 11 career victories to his credit, including a Listed success on the Gold Coast during his 2015 Queensland campaign.
