The most recent catalogue for gavelhouse.com New Zealand is now online with a bumper offering of 67 Lots.
"There are some nice horses yet to find homes after the Ready to Run Sale last week so we're giving them another throw at the stumps in the hope that there may be some buyers out there that perhaps thought the sale might have been out of their league until now" commented gavelhouse.com Sales and Marketing Manager Haylie Martin.
In total there are 37 Ready to Run horses with breeze up footage and most with x-rays on offer, Sires featured include Alamosa, Align, Al Maher, Bullbars, Cape Blanco, Commands, Helmet, Highly Recommended, Jimmy Choux, Keeper, Niagara, Pour Moi, Reliable Man, Reset, Roc de Cambes, Per Incanto, Pins, Sebring, Shocking, Showcasing, Tavistock, Wanted, Written Tycoon, Zed.
Making up the balance of the catalogue are a mix of 30 yearlings, broodmares, two year olds, untried horses and racehorses.
Mapperley Stud have again supported the website with some quality Lots including a filly by Windsor Park Stud's Rip Van Winkle, the sire of Saturday's Group Two Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes winner Larsala. At Lot 9, the two year old is a daughter of Linnet, a winning daughter of champion broodmare sire Volksraad who produced a full brother to the filly that sold for $320,000 as a yearling.
With his first crop now two year olds, Niagara celebrated his first trial winner this week in a timely result with three of his progeny on offer in the sale. Two realistically-priced ready to run juveniles are available at Lot 34 and Lot 36 while in the broodmare section Lime Country Thoroughbreds have listed Still a Rockstar a Starcraft mare with an attractive Niagara filly at foot (pictured above).
Also of note is an unreserved full brother from Chequers Stud to champion Singapore two and three year old Affleck. At Lot 52 the three year old Battle Paint colt has had two trials but yet hasn't quite lived up to the lofty expectations his sibling has set.
Bidding is currently open in the auction and closes from 7pm (NZ time) on Monday 28 November. View the full catalogue here and for assistance registering and bidding contact Haylie Martin, haylie@gavelhouse.com or phone +64226378127
