The well-related All Knitted Up will relish the distance of his Riccarton assignment on Wednesday.
"He's very much a dour stayer and he'll love the 2500 metres," Ballymore Stables racing manager Nick Fairweather said. "He looks like a potential cups horse of the future."
All Knitted Up was second at Ashburton last time out and he will again be ridden by Samantha Collett in the Romano's Pizzas Premier.
The Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard-trained four-year-old is a half-brother to his stablemate Savile Row, runner-up in Saturday's Gr.1 NZ 2000 Guineas.
