Rageese has earned himself a trip to Perth for the Gr.1 Railway Stakes later this month.
Part-owned by the Cambridge nursery Windsor Park Stud, the son of Street Cry returned to top form at Flemington on Thursday with victory in the Gr.3 VRC L'Oreal Paris Stakes.
"It was an important win for his career after racing," trainer Darren Weir said. "We targeted this race and now hopefully he can go on to Perth for the Railway Stakes."
