Co-trainer Tom Dabernig conceded the Crown Oaks is Yankee Rose's to lose, but the two Lindsay Park fillies will be ready to pounce if the favourite flops.

Harlow Gold and Sebring Dream represent the stable of Dabernig and training partners David and Ben Hayes in the $1 million feature, which appears to be a one-horse race according to the market, with the Cox Plate placegetter Yankee Rose a $1.70 quote with CrownBet.

While the favourite's trainer David Vandyke expressed his concerns about whether his Group 1 winner runs the 2500m trip, Dabernig said Harlow Gold - fifth in the Thousand Guineas - should have no trouble with it.

"Harlow Gold, I'm pretty confident she'll run the trip out strongly," Dabernig told Racing.com's Racing Ahead on RSN 927.

"She's been set for the race.

"She's drawn an inside gate, so she should get a nice run in the race.

"The form out of the Vase has been very strong. Last year, Jameka and Tarzino came out of that, and the Derby winner [Prized Icon] this year, we finished alongside of him."

Dabernig said with his pair, the back-up was the main question mark, but he did declare the duo his best chances for the stable across their 12 Oaks Day runners.

"Harlow Gold's going into the race in excellent order, as is Sebring Dream," Dabernig said.

"It's always in the back of your mind how they handle the relatively quick back-up.

"They're both fit and well.

"If, for whatever reason, Yankee Rose doesn't run the trip, I think our horses will be right there.

"It was an excellent run in the Cox Plate. It's clearly the class horse in the race. The only way it'll get beaten is if it doesn't run the trip." -racing.com
