New Zealand Cup fancy Pacorus has a clean bill of health ahead of the Riccarton carnival.
A $7 chance for the Gr.3 Christchurch Casino-sponsored feature on November 12, results of a blood test on Monday showed he bounced back after being off colour last week.
"It's just one of those things and he's fine now," trainer Chris Wood said. "I'll potter around with him and he's booked on a flight on Thursday week."
Pacorus has won six of his last eight starts, including the Egmont and Mitchelson Cups.
