Hasselhoof has done well during his time off after his third placing in the Gr.1 Livamol Classic.
He went to the Hastings feature off the back of two sprint outings, having missed a planned lead-up in the Listed Karaka Classic due to a heavy track at Pukekohe.
"He's come back great and he's bouncing out of his skin," said Donna Logan, who trains in partnership with Chris Gibbs.
Hasselhoof may go to Trentham on December 3 for the Gr.1 Rydges Wellington Captain Cook Stakes with his long-term aim the Gr.1 Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup.
"It's all about trying to get him into it with the right weight," Logan said.
